day one
well here it goes. Have never blogged before. first time for everything. The truth is that I need to get serious about loosing some weight before my civil partnership 17th february 2012. I have been trying ...sorry well i havent really. in mind i have been trying but in reality its been a different story. I guess ive always had to keep an eye on what I eat as it just seems to pile on with no difficulty whatsoever.
difference this time around is that i have a goal to work to. the happiest day of my life no less..so why has it been so difficult? i dont really have an answer for that. i guess im really content with life and when you are content...you eat with no restrictions...a chinese takeaway here....several hangovers there and butter on your white toast rather than the sawdust bread and 'healthy' spread!
eating is one thing and exercise is another. i have the exercise issue sorted really. i have two crossfit workouts and a spin class each week. so really it is my diet that has been letting the side down. another thing i have noticed is that I seem to be intent on collecting recipie books at the moment and not the lettuce leaf variety either. i think thats really to do with settling down and creating a nest. so as im typing here today delia smith, jamie oliver and gino di campo are starring down at me, groaning with butter, cream and all sorts of gorgeous things. to my left is the slimming world book, small perfectly formed full of perfect cardboard and sawdust recipies!!. and to make matters worse the calorie laden christmas is nearly upon us! .how will all this end?
it has to end one way only....with me feeling good about myself on my wedding day.
